Just as everything in life has a new season of change, of growth, of renewal, so too are you in your time… in your season.

The welcoming of a new baby is a joyous and stressful time for you I know. This is why Queen Pearl Wholistic Birth & Postpartum Doula Services will be honored to be your birth and postpartum doula.

As your birth and labor doula I will enjoy nothing more than to shower you, your baby and family with informative, nurturing, loving support. I will commit to being your advocate for a healthy, full-term birth and labor experience during your season of change and birth just as our ancestors Shiphrah and Puah were advocates for the Hebrew women of the past.

As your postpartum doula I will be by your side every step of the way to advocate for you and be your whole-body support system, nurturing the mind, body and spirit through your season of renewal just as our foremothers did during their season of the Middle Passage and enslavement.

Queen Pearl's Mission

The mission is to help eradicate the extremely high black infant and maternal mortality death rate in the United States and abroad.

The understanding that providing evidence-based information combined with long forgotten beliefs, practices and rituals of our foremothers will encourage a wholistic approach, informed decision making and preventative actions which in turn fosters more wise attitudes towards the health and wellness of the black mother and her family. Recognizing that the specialized care and nurturing support during the season of pregnancy, birth and postpartum will benefit in the development of a thriving, supportive community.

Queen Pearl Wholistic Birth & Postpartum Doula respects and celebrates ancestral traditions, providing holistic support to Black women during pregnancy and postpartum.

Our services encompass mental health support, exercise guidance, meditation, yoga practices, and herbal healing to address maternal and infant mortality rates.

1 on 1 Zoom meeting designed specifically with you in mind.

During pregnancy and postpartum the thought process as well as the emotional state can be affected by the constant body changes and other life demands.

Every mom needs a listening ear that will not judge but have compassion and empathy. Because of personal experience, Queen Pearl can be that listening ear and the encouragement you need to grow wholisticly.
